Climb Vault

Mantle up and over ledges and obstacles that are too tall to simply jump.

The Climb Vault is a mantle: when you reach a ledge or obstacle that's too tall to jump onto, the climb vault pulls you up and over it. It's the move that keeps a run flowing over uneven terrain.

How to perform

  1. Run or jump toward a ledge or wall within interaction range.
  2. The climb vault fires, lifting you up and forward onto the top.

It's most effective on 2-block-high walls — that's the height it's tuned for. For a 1-block-high obstacle you don't need it at all: use the Quick Vault instead and keep your speed.

Follow a climb vault immediately with a Quick Vault for the +CATAPULT bonus, or drop into a Roll on the far side.
