Welcome
An overview of the Parkour Project plugin — free-running movement and a stylish flow-scoring system for Paper and Folia servers.
Welcome to the Parkour Project wiki!
Parkour Project turns any Minecraft server into a free-running playground. Players chain together wall runs, vaults, slides, rolls and tic-tacs to flow through the world — and the plugin rewards smooth, creative movement with a style-scoring system inspired by character-action games.
Parkour Project depends on SealLib and supports both Paper and Folia servers. It requires 1.21.11+.
The two halves of the plugin
Moves
Eight physics-driven movement abilities — wall run, wall jump, wall cling, climb vault, quick vault, slide, roll, and tic tac.
Style System
Earn points for stylish play, climb the flow ranks from D up to Flow State, and trigger named bonuses across four categories.
How it works
Players unlock moves
Each ability is a move that can be enabled, disabled, unlocked or locked per player. Moves are performed with natural inputs — sprinting into a wall, sneaking to roll, and so on.
Movement builds a combo
Chaining moves keeps a combo alive, and the longer and more varied it gets, the more each move adds to it. Let it lapse and it resets.
Stylish play triggers bonuses
Specific tricks and situations award named bonuses (like +NICE DROP or +LEAP OF FAITH), each
worth a burst of points. Bonuses are what actually raise your flow score — and a long combo is
what puts the biggest ones in reach. They're grouped into four categories of increasing difficulty.
Score raises your flow rank
Your live score maps to a flow rank — from D up to Flow State (the top rank, called MAX
internally) — shown on your scoreboard. Score decays constantly, and faster at higher ranks, so you
have to keep scoring to keep your rank.
